How Can We Unbrainwash Our Brains of the Lies of Organised Religion

unbrainwash

This is not a popular message to speak of, but was Jesus famed for telling the truth? No. He was killed by the self-righteous hypocrites whom He came to save. I firmly believe that these ecumenical and interfaith teachings taught today by churches worldwide are antichrist, because Jesus clearly states in the Holy Bible in John 14:6 that He is the way, the truth, the life. Religion doesn’t want to offend anyone in this world, but when it comes to the soul, TRUTH MATTERS. All religions of this world teach works to merit eternal life. Jesus Christ is a person whom we trust in for eternal life. Even the works and will of God is for us to trust on Jesus Christ.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time1 Timothy 2:5-6

28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent – John 6;28-29

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last dayJohn 6:40

Truth can offend, but God gives us a free gift of salvation through the work of Jesus Christ. The wages of sin is death, so somebody must pay for sin. Thankfully, God came as Jesus in the flesh to pay for the penalty of sin for us.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord Romans 6:23

Jesus Christ is not religion. Jesus is God in the flesh whom came down to earth to fulfil something that human kind just can’t do – save themselves. We are tainted by sin. To go to heaven we must be perfect.

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteousRomans 5:19

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him2 Corinthians 5:21

Except, organised religions and even local churches who claim the name of Christ have brainwashed us all into believing that salvation is something that we can take part in because, somehow they teach that Jesus’ work on the cross and His shed blood wasn’t enough to cover all sin. Salvation is all of God, not of human works. Ephesians 2:8-9 is very clear on this.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boastEphesians 2:8-9

Sanctification or discipleship comes after salvation, but service must only be done as we grow in God’s grace.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in themEphesians 2:10

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fearHebrews 12:28

The finished work of Christ – His death, burial, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) is The Gospel.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:1 Corinthians 15:3-4

This one time sacrifice is what saves us from the penalty of sin, through His blood. There is remission of sins through His blood. Scripture clearly states this.

whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;Romans 3:25

who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himselfHebrews 7:27

Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world John 1: 29

Did you read rightly – SIN OF THE WORLD. This means that Calvinists who teach that only a certain few people are saved by God and the rest are doomed for hell, clearly teach error. All can be saved through Christ.

and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world – 1 John 2:2.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins1 John 4:10

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us1 John 1:6-10

The way is strait and narrow, because Jesus is the strait gate and the narrow way. Salvation is a gift of God given to us by simple belief in the gospel. Jesus is the way. Jesus is the bread of life. Jesus is the water that springs up into everlasting life. When Jesus says these in scripture, He is merely saying, through many mediums, that He is the one who gives everlasting life.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by meJohn 14:6

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on himJohn 3:36

but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life – John 4:14

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life – John 5:24

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealedJohn 6:27

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last dayJohn 6:40

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life – John 6:47

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sentJohn 17:3

for the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)1 John 1:2

And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life – 1 John 2:25

The word believe is mentioned in the Gospel of John eighty-five times. It is trust in the finished work of Christ (the Gospel) that saves us. His work, and nothing of our own. The lies of Hollywood and common TV garbage make us seem that we are somehow pretty decent people because we haven’t murdered someone or committed adultery, as examples. Sin goes much further than these mere acts. Sin is within us all. It is a virus that corrupts our very being. We need the baptism of the Holy Spirit to cleanse us from all sin, and when we trust in Christ, we are born again and given the gift of the Holy Spirt, and this new nature cannot sin. This is why we can go to heaven, because it is Jesus’ work that we trust on, and nothing of our own. Our old sinful nature remains. It will always remain, this is why so-called Christians who condemn others for sin have not the truth (the Holy Spirit) within them because Galatians 5:22-23 clearly details the fruits of the spirit that we get as we grow in God’s grace.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no lawGalatians 5:22-23

Most churches fail to rightly divide the word of God and instead front load discipleship onto salvation thereby creating an immediate bondage and need to look at self for proof of salvation.

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth2 Timothy 2:15

1All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness2 Timothy 3:16

Yet, works salvation is commonly taught today, and the message of God’s grace that saves a sinner is hated and ill spoken of.

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of2 Peter 2:2

Hollywood and TV brainwash the world into its beliefs because the father of this world is the devil. Satan is in the church today spreading false works salvation gospels that take the glory from off of Jesus Christ with no assurance of salvation.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works2 Corinthians 11:14-15

Satan isn’t anything like Hollywood movies make him out to be. He comes as an angel of light. Just like he lied to Eve in the Garden of Eden, satan twists God’s word. The above scripture says that their end shall be according to their works. It doesn’t mention Christ’s finished work, therefore these ministers of righteousness never trusted in Christ as saviour and works will be what they are judged for, against Christ’s perfect righteousness. They fall short. No one can match Christ’s work.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evilGenesis 3:4-5

Sin might be a hated word, but it lives within us all. We might believe in our works, but it will amount to nothing at the end of life because all of our righteousnesses (works) are as filthy rags. We all come short of God’s glory.

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us awayIsaiah 64:6

for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GodRomans 3:23

We are created unto good works, as it says in Ephesians 2:10, but take note that this service for Christ after being born again adds nothing to salvation. Instead, service for God will earn us rewards in heaven, or forfeit the treasure we may have attained because we continued to live in sin etc.

Salvation is entirely of God’s grace. It is a gift that we all must receive, because all sin has been paid for by Christ at the cross. When we know that we have assurance of salvation we can then grow in grace and serve God out of gratitude and love, and not out of an unhealthy fear. It is the heart that God looks at, why we do what we do. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace through the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ, because it clearly says in scripture that no one will be able to boast of salvation by works. If you have been brainwashed by organised religion, it is time to unbrainwash our brains with God’s Word. It is good to remind ourselves that we are saved by grace, and to thank God for his wonderful mercy and grace every day. Sin is already paid for by Christ, but we must accept the gift of God by simple belief.
