We read article after article on human philosophy, which often omits God, but the solution is always one of human effort. God has been taken out of education and replaced with interfaith or ecumenism (pushing all religions into one and trying to find God through human merit), and Hollywood mocks God and Jesus Christ in every way it can. Jesus clearly said that is he is the way, the truth, and the life. Will you believe man or God’s word, which is truth as it says in John 17:17.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me – John 14:6
How sad that Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings are shown almost every weekend, and yet there were no quality movies on at Easter or at Christmas, except Risen. I rarely watch TV any more.
Human effort cannot fix this world, because the problem is in all of us. Its called sin, and human works cannot take us to heaven, but God made the way possible through Jesus Christ. He did say that the way was strait and narrow in Matthew 7:13-14, because Jesus is that way. Jesus is not religion. He is a God in the flesh who became sin for us, because the wages of sin is death.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord – Romans 6:23
We must be sinless to enter heaven, and only Jesus Christ, the sinless lamb, paid for all sin.
For he hath made him to besin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him – 2 Corinthians 5:21
Humans can deny Him all they want through pride, but He exists.
What a beautiful gift God has given us, and yet it is evil spoken of today (2 Peter 2:2) by people who have turned the good news (the gospel) into an impossible bondage of human works that takes the glory off of God.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast – Ephesians 2:8-9
The devil sure wants to take as many people to hell with him, and he uses blinded humans to achieve this via accursed gospels and human philosophy, but God loves each and every one of us and asks for us to believe on His son, Jesus Christ for eternal life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God – 1 John 5:13
Please don’t let pride get in the way of accepting Jesus Christ as saviour. We can’t get to heaven any other way, because heaven is a perfect place, and we must be born again with a new nature that is incorruptible, and this is the gift of the Holy Spirit when we trust in Christ’s finished work on the cross.
