If you are a born again believer in Christ Jesus, then you have received the gift of the Holy Spirit, who indwells and leads you into all truth. This is discernment – right from wrong, truth from error, Spirit-filled vs antichrist messages. An unsaved person has not the gift of the Holy Spirit and can try to interpret the word of God, but it will be erroneous, so they should not teach others, because souls are at stake. False teachers abound. False messages are everywhere. False messages on tracts abound. The simple message of eternal life through Jesus Christ and his finished work is rarely found, so we must shine our light brethren and expose this darkness. No one will steal the glory from off my precious Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ. He gets all the glory.
It deeply saddens me to go to most Christian websites and read their ‘about us’ or ‘what we believe’ page, only to discover that their gospel is accursed and contains a message that steals the glory off Jesus Christ by adding subtle human works here and there.
9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump – Galatians 5:9
Jesus warns us of false prophets, who appear in sheep’s clothing. They will have a message that sounds holy, but what are they saying. What are the fruits of their words? Do they teach God’s will for eternal life to believe in Him, as Jesus told his disciples in John 6:40.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day – John 6:40
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works – 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
Adding a little work here and there is not pleasing to God, because Jesus perfected the will of God in dying on the cross for all sin.
It is our job to receive this gift of salvation through belief in Christ Jesus. Let’s stop trusting in our human works because we have nothing good in us to offer God. Our righteousness’s are as filthy rags.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away – Isaiah 64:6
Our trust in Christ pleases God because this is the will of God.
Sin is inherent in all of mankind and we must be perfect to go to heaven, and only the sinless lamb of God (Jesus Christ) could take away sin.
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world – John 1:29
If we reject the work of Jesus Christ, we have no one to blame but ourselves for where we end up when we die.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God – John 3:18
Do people have no understanding of the love that God has for us in sending Jesus, his only begotten son, to pay for our sin? Seriously, if human works could pay for sin, Jesus would never have had to leave Heaven, be born of a virgin, grow up and learn God’s laws and obey them perfectly, and be the propitiation for all sin, so it matters when people throw in a turn from sin here and there to the perfect work of Christ.
Sirs, what must I do to be saved, was the question that the Phillipian jailer asked Paul and Silus, and what did they reply?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house – Acts 16:31
Why has the gospel been so corrupted today by human works, either frontloaded with messages like repent of your sin, or backloaded with you need to commit your life to Christ, or be willing to turn from all of your sins or you’ll lose your salvation? Look these terms up in the Holy Bible and they are not to be found. Salvation is simple. Salvation is easy, and those who speak evil of grace have no understanding of the love of God for mankind in sending His son.
People can be self-righteous in performing good works and looking down upon others who struggle in the Christian walk, but until we see our need for a saviour, pride is keeping us from seeing our true evil nature. Yes, I admit that I am evil. That nature is in me. I struggle with it daily. I am grateful for Christ, as my intercessor before the Father, because without Him, I would have no hope of heaven.
JESUS PAID FOR SIN. Why would human merit post salvation cause us to lose salvation when salvation is a love gift of God to us through his Son, Jesus Christ?
Most people have no understanding of what grace is, and it is common today for people to turn to pastors and churches for human wisdom, rather than the preserved Holy Bible that is our source for truth. Satan has done a great work in changing the meaning of words like repent, and adding subtle works to the gospel of race, so that people look to themselves for signs of change, rather than to the finished work of Christ, who said it is finished in John 19:30.
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost – John 19:30
I know there is a common problem today in Christendom today called carnality, just like the Church of Corinth, but we have to let God chasten his children, if they have trusted in Christ as saviour. It is not God’s will for us to live carnally, but Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are created unto good works. We cannot force people to live godly lives. We can only give them up to God and ask for His intervention in their life.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them – Ephesians 2:10
If we are constantly looking to ourselves for proof of salvation, this is proof that we have never trusted in Christ’s finished work as saviour and we are not baptised with the new birth (Holy Spirit), so we need to trust in God, not man’s wisdom of what salvation is.
Perhaps we once trusted Christ as saviour, which means that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, but then we have listened to erroneous teachings like Calvinism or lordship salvation, which are heavily focussed on works for salvation. The truth is that we will never grow in God’s grace and bear the fruit of the Spirit for his glory when we are serving God through the flesh, or through fear. Jesus has paid for all of our sin, so we can rest in security knowing that we have eternal life through Him, and instead serve God out of an infinite gratitude and love of Him that will grow each and every day as we fellowship with God.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life – John 6:47
Wow, what an amazing truth. This gives assurance of salvation in its simplicity. Listen to God’s Word, instead of man’s pernicious teachings. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing.
Here are some common antichrist gospel messages that brings dishonour to God’s wonderful free gift of salvation and steals the glory from off Jesus Christ in adding human merit. These are done in subtle ways, but if you have the gift of the Holy Spirit, it is important to stay away from these false teachers, and even mark them.
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple – Romans 16:17-18
Accursed Gospel 1 – Repent or turn from your sin to be saved
This is a frontloading gospel of works, asking you to do something prior to believing on Christ for salvation. Do these people who give such commands have an understanding of what sin is. Sin is huge. If we know to do good, and yet we do it not, this is a sin. For example, if we say that we are going to pray for someone, and do not, this is a sin.
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin – James 4:17
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death – 1 John 5:17
The tongue is a world of iniquity.
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongueamong our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell – James 3:6
To hate another in just thought is to commit murder.
Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him – 1 John 3:15
To lust upon someone is to commit adultery in the heart.
but I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart – Matthew 5:28
Why do people put an impossible task onto people when it comes to salvation? Instead, people should be told to simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. The truth is that these people who tell you to turn from sin haven’t turned from all their sin, so they are hypocrites, liars and deceivers and the truth is not in them. They make God’s simple salvation from faith in Christ into an impossible work that leadeth to misery, not rest and peace.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us – 1 John 1:5-10
The person who repented the most in the Holy Bible is God himself. It is all throughout the Old Testament, so if repent is to turn from sin then you are calling God a sinner. People use the word ‘repent’ idly without knowing what it truly means. If you have stopped trusting in your human works to get to heaven, and trusted in the work of Jesus Christ, who paid for all of your sin, then you have already repented. Repentance is a change of mind and trusting on the work that saves a person from hell – only Christ Jesus saves. God wants none to perish.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance – 2 Peter 3:9
God made the law impossible, because only God as Jesus Christ in the flesh could ever keep it. The law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, because we need a saviour.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster – Galatians 3:23-25
Accursed Gospel 2 – give or commit your life to Christ
What can committing your life to Christ do without first receiving his payment for your sin? Human works cannot pay for sin. It is a worthwhile thing to serve God after we are born again with the Holy Spirit as we grow in sanctification, but giving our life to Christ without ever being born again will do nothing to save us. Our sin must be paid for, and human works will never please God. This is why Jesus Christ came to earth to die for sin.
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world – John 1:29
The world defined in this passage is the people in the world.
Therefore, we may have believed a false gospel all of our lives, and then die without Christ because we have listened to a frontloaded gospel of works, that sounded good, but it was devoid of Christ and his finished work on the cross. Movies and TV encourage false gospels such as this one, but all you need to do to get saved is to believe that Christ paid for your sins.
Only Christ was the committed perfect sinless man who obeyed God unto death.
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross – Philippians 2:8
Even though we can confess to others that we have given our life to Christ, if we are honest with ourselves, and God (because He knows all things), we will always fail. Only Jesus is the perfect one, and we receive eternal life through His completed work, and not through our work.
Growing is grace is serving God out of love and gratitude for what He has done for us, and there will be visible fruit of the Spirit as we continue, but this will be in moments as we yield to God daily.
Run from the one who says that once you are a born again believer that you will never sin again, because this is simply untrue. Yes, we have victory in Christ against sin, but we need to be walking in the Spirit constantly, but if we are honest we do fail in our walk daily. We will always have the curse of our sin nature, which is why Paul tells us to walk in the Spirit.
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh – Galatians 5:16
Feed the new spirit through prayer, spending time with God, sharing the gospel with others, because these all profit the new nature in us that cannot sin, and bring glory to God.
Accursed Gospel 3 – if you continue to sin you can lose your salvation
Jesus died for sinners; he was buried, and resurrected from the grave three days later. He offers eternal life to whosoever (all people) who trust in Him. He paid for sin, and we need to receive His gift for eternal life. It is freely given. Remember God has given us all free will, so we can choose to receive His payment for our sin or we can reject His gift, and we will therefore perish and the wrath of God is upon us.
If Jesus paid for all sin then why would stopping sinful behaviours have any effect on eternal life? This is a false gospel that is continually spread to cause fear in people to live a righteous life, but this righteous life must be lived with the help of the Holy Spirit, or else it is a life lived through the flesh. Works must come as we abide in Christ.
God cannot lie, and God is Jesus Christ in the flesh, so when Jesus says that whosoever believeth in Him shall have eternal life, believe Him, not man’s vain interpretation of what he thinks eternal life is, or how to attain it.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life – John 6:47
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? – 1 John 5:5
God made salvation easy, easy enough for a child to understand and we must receive it with the same humility, without questioning God.
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 18:2-4
When man backloads the gospel with works like if you continue in sin then you can lose your salvation, they have no understanding of God’s grace. It subtly steals the glory from off Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift that we receive through faith in Christ. Instead, we can rest in what Christ has done for us, and serve Christ out of gratitude, but even if we produce no fruit after receiving Christ, we still go to heaven because it is Christ’s work that saves us, and not our own. However, we will forfeit treasures or not inherit the Kingdom of God that would have been ours had we served God here on Earth.
This is the difference between a person who has trusted in Christ as saviour versus someone who is looking to themselves for evidence of salvation. A person trusting in their works will never have an assurance of salvation, and eternal security is taught through the Holy Bible. I recommend the King James Bible, as modern versions omit verses here and there, and it is dangerous to toy with the Word of God.
Accursed Gospel 4 – You need to persevere to the end
Again, if you are listening to a false gospel that is telling you to persevere to the end then you are trusting in your works and not God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. You will always be looking to your self, and not resting in the work of Jesus Christ. A gospel such as this steals the glory off Jesus Christ. You may persevere to the end and not be saved, so what will a life of good works have served you, if you have not life? Be taught by the word of God and not human wisdom.
Salvation is what God has done for us, and discipleship or sanctification is about our walk with Christ after we are born again through faith in Christ. They are separate. This is why Paul admonishes the brethren (believers) to walk in the Spirit, and not the flesh.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit – Romans 8:1
that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit – Romans 8:4
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh– Galatians 5:16
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit – Galatians 5:25
Accursed Gospel 5 – Giving your heart to Christ or ask Jesus in your heart
We do not need to give anything to Christ for salvation, because it’s not taught through the Bible. You will never find the expression ‘give your heart to Christ’ or ‘ask Jesus into your heart’ in the Holy Bible.
This can result in a false assurance, and when trying to warn someone about this false message, we then become the enemy in telling the truth.
Remember, Christ paid for sin on the cross for all of humanity, but we need to receive this gift through faith in Jesus Christ. Give God all of your glory and praise, but forget about giving your heart to Christ, because the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? – Jeremiah 17:9
Are churches encouraging believers to read the Bible, because they should, and it is important what version of the Bible is read, because modern versions like the NIV takes out the blood of Christ in scripture, and encourage works for salvation. Read the King James Bible, as this is the pure preserved Word of God, and God promised to preserve His word.
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever – Psalm 12:6-7
Sadly, grace is evil spoken of today and given the term easy believism or cheap grace. Those who speak evil of God’s amazing grace will have to face God one day and have to answer as to why they added works to the perfect finished work of Christ. In teaching others such things, then the hearers teach others a false message, and this false message circles this world and brings no peace to those searching for salvation. God is evil spoken of. People believe that they have to do something to go to heaven, and salvation is lost for so many people. Man’s wisdom has trumped the Word of God, and it should not be this way. Instead, we should be testing the spirits whether they be of God. What are others teaching about salvation? Do they say it is by grace by faith alone, in Christ alone, or are they adding works to the finished work of Christ.
Christianity is not always an easy walk if we are not lazy carnal Christians who want to live like the world, because it is warfare for souls, but we are given victory through Christ and we should serve God out of gratitude for what He has done for us. Fasting is a powerful tool that sadly, not a lot of Churches discuss or encourage today.
We need to shine our light in this dark world and bring glory to Christ in sharing the simple gospel and loving others as God first loved us. Souls are important to Satan because he wants to take as many to hell with him as possible, but they are even more precious to God, who sent his only begotten son to die for all sin, and whosoever believeth on him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God – 1 John 5:13
What an amazing God we serve. What great love He has for us all, even when we reject and hate Him, as so many ignorant people do, because man’s wisdom seemeth right. What an amazing truth we have in 1 John 5:13, and what an amazing rest in knowing that Jesus Christ paid for all my sin, and I can serve God out of love.
but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:– Matthew 6:20
Instead, let’s stop listening to these false prophets on the radio, on the internet, and on YouTube, and go directly to God’s precious Word, because when we trust in Christ we have the teacher – the Holy Spirit, who guides us into all truth.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come– John 16:13
I would like to attend a grace teaching Church, but they all seem to be in the United States, and I live in the UK. Therefore, I look to the Lord to teach me through the Holy Scriptures and listening to grace teaching sermons. I’ve met my fair share of lordshippers who just get you to question your salvation because you’re not doing this or that, and these people put burdens onto people to perform, instead of resting on Christ.
I do get lonely on this walk, but it’s amazing to have the peace and joy that a walk with Jesus brings. He is my friend, my counsellor, my saviour, my peace, my joy, my great salvation, my rock, and Lord and the King of Kings.

As a born again believer, who has trusted Christ as saviour, I must share the gospel.
- Sin separates us from God (Genesis 3).
- The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
- To go to heaven, we must be perfect, and none of us are (Matthew 5:48).
- God loves us (John 3:16), but He hates our sin (Psalm 5:4).
- God came in the flesh as Jesus Christ (John 10:30), obeyed the law perfectly (Romans 5:19), and died that cruel death on the cross for the sins of every human being who will ever live on this earth (1 John 2:2).
- Jesus, who is God in the flesh, resurrected His body and ascended into Heaven offering his sacrifice for sin forever (Hebrews 10:12).
- The will of God is for us to believe on His son, Jesus Christ, who paid for all sin (John 6:40).
- Jesus’ shed blood gives us the remission of sin (Romans 3:25, Hebrews 10:18).
- Although God has died for all sin, God chooses to save only those who trust in His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ (John 6:47).
Do you believe that He paid for your sin debt? Will you trust Him today for eternal life? Contrary to popular belief by false teachers who teach that a believer can lose their salvation because of willful sin etc, this is incorrect. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance — Romans 11:29
