If you are alive today, God is merciful and longsuffering. He wants none to perish (2 Peter 3:9), but all of mankind saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). He wants to reach you with the light of the gospel message.
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: – 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Sin is sin. It grieves Almighty God. He cannot stand sin. It separates us from God. All have sinned before God. Rejecting God and trying to establish our own righteousness before God through our own works is the unpardonable sin of rejecting Christ, so all believers were all at one time in rejection of Christ when we were lost in our sin.
To kill another is wrong. To commit adultery is wrong. To lust is wrong. To covet possessions is wrong. To lie, cheat, and steal is wrong. To not love God with our heart, mind, soul, and strength is wrong. To put anything else above God is idolatry and wrong. To have no honour of our mother and father is wrong. These are looked upon as outward sins, but let’s not forget that God looks at the heart, the intent of why we do what we do. Slander and gossip is wrong.
To judge another person’s character is wrong, because the media has a way of swaying our thoughts into divide and dislike, because the ill intent of Satan is at its core, as is the philosophy of the world. To be jealous of another is wrong. To create laws that promote feminism and homosexuality are wrong, because scripture says they are wrong. Just because a law of the Government is in place, does not mean that it is right before God. Satan’s job is to get man to sin, therefore putting him under the condemnation and wrath of God, yet God gives us a clear picture of how much He loves us in sending His Son.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved – John 3:17
Those who have trusted Christ after hearing the good news of his death, burial and resurrection as full payment for our sin, are made alive, born again with the Holy Spirit of promise, and have the eternal promise of never perishing but spending eternity with Him, all because we obeyed the gospel by believing the record that God gave of His Son. Salvation is easy. No human is beyond the forgiveness of Almighty God.
Those who rape, kill, molest children, deceive, lie, defraud, etc… the list of heinous crimes of man are endless, but these sins are not beyond the forgiveness of Almighty God. So PLEASE, if you have not put your trust in Jesus Christ today, do not be under the false assumption that you are beyond the forgiveness of God. No human is beyond the forgiveness of Almighty God, but God is a Holy God who must punish sin. However, instead of punishing us, God punished His Son in OUR place. If you are alive today, God is in control of your very life. He wants you to hear the precious message of His Son that gives life. God is kind and merciful. Do not reject the light of the gospel that saves. Tomorrow is never promised to us. Jesus is God who cannot lie. When we believe the gospel (Christ’s death, burial and resurrection that paid for all sin), we are putting our faith in the very promises of God to eternally save us, and faith is pleasing to God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him – Hebrews 11:6
Remember, all sin is covered. Christ made a one time payment for sin, scripture is clear that the work of Christ is finished.
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost – John 19:30
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; – Hebrews 10:12
The atoning WORK of CHRIST satisfied the WRATH OF GOD as full payment for our sin, past present and future. Remember when Jesus died, none of us were yet born, which means that all of our sins were yet future. Christ died for all the sin of mankind, once for all. Why is this simple message so difficult for people to understand and believe?
PRIDE
Just like the Pharisees were trusting in their own righteousness, much of humanity today has not submitted unto the righteousness of God.
For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God – Romans 10:3
Our righteousnesses (good works), as much as we believe them to be true, are as filthy rags before God. They are filthy before Almighty God because they are laced with sin because we have a corrupt sin nature inherited from Adam.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away – Isaiah 64:6
In order for our good works to be recognised by God, they must come from a new nature, and that new nature born of God can only come by putting our faith in the shed blood of Christ.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them – Ephesians 2:10
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men – Titus 3:8
Do not believe the lies of Satan in making you believe that Almighty God cannot forgive your sins, no matter how heinous you believe them to be, when God has already shown you that He loves you in sending Jesus His Son to die for your sins on the cross. Remember, God sees everything. He knows our thoughts. He knows our struggles. Nothing is hidden. Only Jesus gives life. No church, baptism, ordinances, tithing, sacraments etc can make us righteous before God, because our sin debt needs taken care of. Jesus is sinless, and was able to take the wrath of the penalty of sin for us, so that we could be made righteous of God in Him.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him – 2 Corinthians 5:21
A World of Chaos
It’s a difficult world we are living in right now. The news may be frightening to some, but there is one in control called Almighty God – the creator of Heaven and Earth. Contrary to what is taught in Christendom, no human is beyond the forgiveness of Almighty God. There are so many false doctrines being taught in Christendom today, and none of them are found in scripture. The Word of God is clear that salvation is a gift of God. We cannot earn it, and we most certainly cannot keep it by living a certain way. We must receive it by faith in Jesus Christ and only Him.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast – Ephesians 2:8-9
Front Loading the Gospel
These following terms are what are known as front-loading the gospel:
1. Clean up your life, come to Christ
2. Make Christ the Lord and master of your life, believe in Christ
3. Give your life to Christ
4. Repent or turn from sins, believe in Christ
5. Receive Jesus into your heart
6. You must be water baptized, believe in Christ
Any combination of these, asking you to do anything other than to believe on Jesus Christ alone and what he had done to you through his death, burial and resurrection, is an accursed gospel that has subtly changed the finished work of Christ into another gospel that gets a person to look at their behaviour or good works as evidence of his or her salvation.
Back Loading the Gospel
These following terms are what are known as back-loading the gospel:
1. If you continue to sin, you are not saved, or you can lose your salvation
2. If you don’t clean up your life or live a certain way, you are not saved
If a pastor or teacher is telling you that you need to do any of the above, or a combination or anything else on top of the finished work of Christ, that person is teaching an accursed gospel that steals the glory from off of Jesus, who is God in the flesh. In essence, they believe that they no longer sin, which is impossible because our old sin nature still exists in the life of a believer, and they condemn others who are not living up their expectations. God calls them a hypocrite. Even Paul the Apostle struggled with sin.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin – Romans 7:22-25
Sadly, these false prophets who teach sinless perfection are everywhere, and the trouble is that they still sin, it’s just they are too proud to admit it and they do not examine themselves honestly as scripture says. These are not good places to be as a Christian.
Some Christians can hear the gospel once and believe it, and then fall into error, and then teach error to others. These people are saved, because scripture is clear that if we lose faith, God is faithful.
if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself – 2 Timothy 2:13
I think most people believe that if they once trusted in God, and then became atheists or today reject God, they are not saved, but God saves us the moment we trust in Christ alone, apart from works, and scripture is clear that the Holy Spirit that is inside of us cannot deny himself. Even though these people now live a life grieving to God, they are saved nonetheless. False teachings and religion can create confusion in people, but on the other hand, if these people believe that they have to continue to believe in God, or live a certain way, perhaps they were always trusting in their performance to get right with God.
Examining Ourselves in Honesty
The opposite is true. The more time we spend with God, the more we see our depravity and sin, and the more we can understand God’s amazing gift of grace and want to extend this grace and mercy to those that are lost. God loves everyone. No human is beyond the forgiveness of Almighty God. The love of God gives us a love for others, because without Christ and His atoning sacrifice for our sin, NO ONE could be reconciled to a Holy God. God loves and forgives everyone, and the evidence is in the work of Christ on the cross.
Nothing but the blood of Jesus Christ can wash away our sin, and because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), God has made the way possible to return to Him, through the work of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
Anyone who is teaching that you need to make a commitment to Christ before you believe in Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, or is then saying if you don’t change your life you can lose your salvation, are spitting in the very face of God Almighty who died for their very rejection of Him. They have no real understanding of grace, and how Almighty God views sin.
Only Jesus Gives Life
No human is beyond the forgiveness of Almighty God. God proved that by giving his only begotten Son to the world. Yes, salvation is easy because Christ paid for salvation. IT IS HIS WORK THAT SAVES US. It has nothing to do with our works or performance. This is the teaching of religion where a person is taught that works play a part in getting right with God, but the trouble is that religion cannot save because God demands perfection.
If we could save ourselves by living a certain way, or turning from sins, why did Jesus have to die?
ONLY BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY BRINGS LIFE (SALVATION), because JESUS SAVED US BY THE WORK OF HIS DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION.
This emphasis on Christ and his full payment for our sin, past present and future, giving us remission of sin and the righteousness of God before Almighty God is rarely taught in churches.
I live in the UK and I cannot find a church that teaches the simplicity that is in Christ by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. I have to learn by watching sermons by faithful teachers like Tom Adams, Tom Cucuzza, and Ralph ‘Yankee’ Arnold. Tom says that if a church is not teaching that Christ alone apart from works saves us, they have no understanding of the gospel, or perhaps have never heard it.
Over the past few months, God gave me the conviction to reach an existing church with the gospel, but my message was deleted from their videos, and they have no excuse that the truth did not reach them when they stand before God. How can anyone have assurance of salvation if they are being taught a repent from sin message before believing in Christ? One other message taught was that it was not enough to believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, but that you must obey the gospel.
To obey the gospel in the context of Romans 10:16 is to believe the report of Jesus Christ and his atoning work for sinful mankind, notice the words ‘believed our report’. Then faith in mentioned in Romans 10:17, so without hearing the good news of what Jesus had done for us in dying for our sin, how can we put our faith in Him whom we have not heard of?
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God – Romans 10:16-17
God loved us first, and religion has caused so much damage to the body of Christ in making us believe that salvation is more than just Christ’s finished work on the cross. What I notice today when just the words ‘God’ or ‘Jesus’ are used in a sentence, the people judge me religious, and this is simply not the case.
Religion deceives, but only biblical Christianity by the work of Christ can deliver a person eternally from the wrath of God, because the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), and scripture declares that all have sinned (Romans 3:23).
All that we as sinful humans can do is to believe the record that God gave of His Son. God has given (a gift) to us eternal life and this life is in His Son.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16
Notice that the only requirement so as not to perish (eternally separated from God) is to believe in the Son, Jesus Christ, who is the only giver of life eternal.
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God – 1 John 5:10-13
Scripture is simple is showing us how loving and forgiving God is toward sinful mankind, and the only way to escape the condemnation and wrath of God is to put our trust in His Son, Jesus Christ. No human is beyond the forgiveness of Almighty God.
Yes, that means that all religions of the world are wrong, because in some way these religions are teaching that good works can make you righteous before a Holy God.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me – John 14:6
These are the word of Jesus. If this offends you, take it up with God. We as believers are to teach the truth by the Word of God, and we should never compromise what He says, because we are accountable to God.
Receiving Salvation is Easy
If you believe that you are beyond God’s forgiveness, has not God given you life today to read this very message? It is the pride of man that makes us believe that we are something that we are not. Trust in Christ. Nothing else but faith in Christ is required.
Almighty God, I come to you today because I believe your Word that says I have sinned before you, and no amount of good works can save me. You loved me and sent the gift of your only begotten Son, Jesus, to die in my place for all sin. You delivered Him from death, and Jesus is risen. I put my faith in Your Son and your Word says that he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life.
