The Role of The Mainstream Media is to Cause Divide, Hate and Blame Amongst Humans Beings

mainstream media

Most people trust that the mainstream media is telling the truth, but the role of the mainstream is to cause divide, hae and blame amongst humans. It will rarely admit wrong. It is there to spread both truth and misinformation. It is full of pride. It thrives on causing division.

The trouble is that there are many media sources – mainstream and independent. Even the independent media sources have the potential to fuel such anger inside people that it leads to the same never ending cycle of blaming the ‘bad’ guys. These news sources cause a never ending stream of emotional mind control that is rarely focused toward love and unity.

But who is good? Is anyone good? What does God say. How does He see mankind?

God has said that all have sinned and come short of his glory.

for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Romans 3:23

as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:Romans 3:10
These are pretty sobering scriptures, but it’s what God has said in His word.
Let’s look at the words, ‘sinned’, ‘come short’, ‘glory’ and ‘righteous’ in the greek.
‘Sinned’ is the greek 264 hamartano, defined:
1. to be without a share in
2. to miss the mark
3. to err, be mistaken
4. to miss or wander from the path of uprightness and honour, to do or go wrong
5. to wander from the law of God, violate God’s law, sin
‘Come short’ is the greek 5302 hustereo, defined:
1. behind
   a. to come late or too tardily
    1. to be left behind in the race and so fail to reach the goal, to fall short of the end
    2. metaphorically fail to become a partaker, fall back from
      b. to be inferior in power, influence and rank
       1. of the person: to be inferior to
      c. to fail, be wanting
      d. to be in want of, lack
2. to suffer want, to be devoid of, to lack (be inferior) in excellence, worth
‘Glory’ in the greek is 1391 doxa, defined:
1. opinion, judgement, view
2. opinion, estimate, whether good or bad concerning someone
  a. in the New Testament always a good opinion concerning one, resulting in praise, honour, and glory
3. splendour, brightness
   a. of the moon, sun, stars
   b. magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, grace
   c. majesty
    1. a thing belonging to God
    2. the kingly majesty which belongs to him as supreme ruler, majesty in the sense of the absolute perfection of the deity
    3. a thing belonging to Christ

      b. the absolutely perfect inward or perfect excellency of Christ; the majesty
    4. of the angels
      a. as apparent in their exterior brightness
4.  a most glorious condition, most exalted state
      a. of that condition with God the Father in heaven to which Christ was raised after he had achieved his work on earth
      b. the glorious condition of blessedness into which is appointed and promised that true Christians shall enter after their Saviour’s return from heaven
‘Righteous’ is the greek 1342 dikaios, defined:
1. righteous, observing divine laws
   a. in a wide sense, upright, righteous, virtuous, keeping the commands of God
    1. of those who seem to be themselves to be righteous, who pride themselves to be righteous, who pride themselves in their virtues, whether real or imagined
    2. innocent, faultless, guiltless
    3. used of him whose way of thinking, feeling, and acting is wholly conformed to the will of God, and who therefore needs no rectification in the heart or life
   a. only Christ truly
    4. approved of or acceptable of God
   b. in a narrower sense, rendering to each his due and that in a judicial sense passing just judgement on others, whether expressed in words or shown by the manner of dealing with them
Clearly, these scriptures show us that to be acceptable of God, we must be perfect, and since scripture says that all have sinned, where lies our hope?
The good news is that Jesus Christ, God the Son, the second person of the Godhead, was born of the Virgin Mary and completely fulfilled the laws of God being in full obedience to God the Father. He became a sin offering for us on the cross, bearing the sins of the entire world.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him2 Corinthians 5:21
He was buried and rose from the dead victoriously on the third day, providing that he was so sinless and pure that even death could not keep him.
Scripture says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and his finished work. Upon faith in Him, the righteousness of God is imputed unto our account. Our sins are washed away and we can go to heaven because of what Christ has done for us. Salvation is not of ourselves, because God will not allow boasters into heaven. It is a gift that we receive through faith in the work of Jesus Christ, who made that sin payment on our behalf, the wages of sin being death (Romans 6:23).

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boastEphesians 2:8-9

The mainstream media has its own agenda to cause divide and blame amongst humans, but if we can see beyond its agenda, we don’t need to let it take control of our mind and behaviour.
As God as said, we all stand guilty before Him. We cannot enter heaven as we are because our sin is in the way of an eternal relationship with God and requires a death payment.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord – Romans 6:23
We need the perfection of God, and the only way that we can receive His righteousness is by putting our trust in the perfect Saviour, Jesus Christ. Being born again means being sealed with the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead who cannot sin. This is the only reason why we can go to heaven when we die, because we are sealed with the Holy Spirit upon our trust in Christ’s finished work on the cross.
Let’s take our eyes off the mainstream media, including independent medias, and keep our eyes on God and His Word. When we read His Word, we are fellowshipping with God and He will give us full peace and joy.
The mainstream media’s job is to cause fear, divide, and blame amongst humans, but the purpose of God’s word is to help us manifest the fruit of the spirit, for His glory. These manifestations are the opposite of what the world’s media causes in humankind. The opposite of fear, for example, is peace and gratitude.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no lawGalatians 5:22-23

Turn off the media, don’t let its filth feed your mind. Even independent media sources may be laced with both truth and lies, but ultimately the agenda is the same – blame and divide amongst humans.

Don’t forget who is the god of this world – Satan. Satan is described as the father of lies.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of itJohn 8:44

God is light and truth, and as believers who have the light of truth within us, sealed by the Holy Spirit, absolute righteousness before God because of our faith in the perfect work of Jesus on the cross, we should be the truth and light in this wicked atheist world.

Use scripture to reprove, rebuke, and exhort.

preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine2 Timothy 4:2

I do not agree that sites like even independent media sites like Qanon, tell the entire truth, because the Word of God tells us that we should trust God over man. God doesn’t confuse, but these independent media sites are just the same as every other media site – they cause hate, blame, and divide in human beings who are blinded by the liar of this world, Satan.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. 9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princesPsalm 118:8-9

Only God’s word tells the truth without error or lies and it is this that we must wholly depend upon. Only in God’s Word is there true lasting peace, a peace that this world can never bring.

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in himProverbs 30:5

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy pathsProverbs 3:5-6

The mainstream media loves causing blame, divide, and hatred in one another, but it doesn’t have to be this way when God becomes our focus.

His ways are higher. His thoughts are higher.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughtsIsaiah 55:9
